poem about resilience

Introducing a poem about resilience:

There are some things
I thought I’d never make it through
but I did
even when I was a kid
Catching fireflies underneath
holes left room to breathe
moments of flickering belief
fear was the real thief.

Tip toe through the hallways
corridors of your mind
don’t awaken the sleeping giants
who prefer to keep you blind
keep staring out windows
touch the spring breeze
knock on doors of promise
and open them with ease.

Because love is a portal
through which mortals
take one step at a time
to wash their sins away
till the dawn
the break of day
but don’t excuse the essence
the healing power of lessons
what your heart died to say.

Poem about Resilience | Windows | Poem background:

Often, resilience is connected to our past. The environment in which we grow can either challenge us to create a better future for ourselves, or to buckle under the pressure of memories too sad for sustained recollection. Are you staring blindly through a window but unable to process the new scenery?

Resilience is conquering our fears one by one. It takes courage to bravely face our memories one by one. Love will always fuel courage. With love we can uncover the rich memories of our past to experience a resilient future.

LoveLifeLinks.com believes you have the courage to connect the dots of your past with your present reality.

Remember, you can feel love anywhere. Anytime. All the time.
