Sailing poem for funeral

Sailing the world
You’re the sailor
Who tames the wind
Cleansing a lifetime of sin
By breathing
Salty life in

All the beauty you saw
By living life raw
Needs no forgiving
The way you live
Breathing in
The breath of our
Reincarnation
You’re the everlasting
Elation

We’ve all sinned
Some by loving
Others by living
You by giving
Your full attention
Let’s not mention
The lives you save
The moments you stop
To make the unseen brave.

And I want to live with you
In your heaven
Forget religious leaven
This is the love
The peace
God’s dove
Redemption
Surrendered bliss
Love is

And if I could choose
One of these days
To stand still
It’d be the day
You convinced me
Pain is the teacher
And love is all that’s real
Instantaneously healed.

Sailing Poem for Funeral | Poem background:

This poem was written through inspiration of one who sailed freely through life, despite many hardships and setbacks. Some have the gift of sailing open seas.

Meditation for losing a loved one

Imagine your loved one sailing rough seas, standing rugged and strong as they conquer the sea with their sails. Remember the beauty of the rising and setting sun against the backdrop of their life that was lived with full abandon. You are sailing with them on the sea of all the lessons they taught you, the pain that they healed, the thrill they invoked as you were rocked from your comfort zone.

LoveLifeLinks.com wishes you loving healing and tender remembrance of your loved one today.

Remember, you can feel love anywhere. Anytime. All the time.
