Sometimes the perfect way to express the passion we feel is through passionate love poems.

There is nothing like the feeling of passionate love. I personally believe there are several types of passionate love:

Types of passionate love

Lustful passion

Lustful passion has more to do with a physical attraction that typically doesn’t include aspects of a soul or mind connection. Perhaps someone has the perfect blue eyes, or a physical characteristic of beauty or brawn that you find very physically attractive. This may result in the feeling of lustful passion.

Soulmate passion

Soulmate passion has a spiritual and transcendent beginning, beyond what we can tangibly touch. This type of passionate love starts by sharing the inward beauty of your soul and is sustained by the acceptance of your soul’s transparency by another human being. To me, the most precious type of passionate love is one that isn’t based on physical touch.

Intellectual passion

Intellectual passion happens when your brain circuits click with the mind of another individual. It’s as if you both are on the same plane of reasoning and you may take professional steps in sync. You don’t have to work hard to understand the other person and you can more quickly accomplish the goal at hand. In other words, both of your minds experience mutuality. Conversely, being intellectually challenged by someone who thinks completely opposite of you can also create passion. This passion is a result of you being pushed out of your comfort zone and coaxed to see things in a completely new way.

Sometimes we experience all three passionate types of love wrapped into one .

Love can’t be put into a box.

Passion certainly can’t be defined.

Imagine dipping your toes into the cool water with your soulmate.

It’s as if you both feel the smooth rocks and gentle water in unison.

Passion isn’t necessarily loud and untamed. In fact, passionate love can be carefully nurtured to remain even when endorphins settle down to give us a break from our heightened feeling of nerves and butterflies.

Being in nature helps us to feel more passion and gives us a way to express our passion by connecting to the earth beneath us.

where springs your love
from the fountain
walk with me
along the river
silent touch
my soul
doth quiver
eyes grow wide
toes
inside
gasps delight
with cool abide.
