Ok. I think Carly Simon is the love of my life. Carly’s husky voice screams seasoned love in all of her music. These lyrics call out avocados — of all fruits, to build up to some serious love. Perhaps she was a health nut and this song is actually all about her love for avocados.
Granted, I also enjoy avocados, so I can appreciate that this healthy treat was worked into the lyrics.
Even though this song doesn’t have a depth of lyrics, the tune is easy going and helps us at least relax to the idea of accepting love into our life.
Truth be told, love itself can be pretty simple when you get down to it.
